Dr. Dianxu REN’s area of expertise lies in biostatistics and epidemiology. Currently, he serves as Professor and Director for Statistical and Data Support Services at Center for Research & Education (CRE) at School of Nursing, University of Pittsburgh. He also holds a secondary appointment as an Associate Professor in the Department of Biostatistics, School of Public Health at University of Pittsburgh. He is also a training faculty on two NIH institutional training (T32) grants in the School of Nursing and serve on many Ph.D. dissertation committees for both biostatistics and nursing students. Since 2006 he has collaborated on more than 20 research grants as a Principal investigator and Co-investigator/Biostatistician and resulted in more than 140 peer-reviewed publications. His current independent research focuses on epidemiology and statistics in aging, gerontology, and Alzheimer disease-related dementia (ADRD).
