Dr. Jinbo FANG is an Associate Professor at Huazhong University of Science and Technology. He received his PhD degree from Tianjin University in 2006. From 2012 to 2013, he worked as a visiting scholar in UIC/NIH Center for Botanical Dietary Supplements Research. He is an executive member of the Medical Resources Branch, China Medical Association of Minorities, and a committee member of Chinese Medicine Identification Branch, China Association of Chinese Medicine.

His research focuses on ethnobotany, and resource and quality evaluation of herbal medicine. More than 30 peer-reviewed papers have been published in Phytomedicine Journal of Ethnopharmacology, Acta Pharmacologica Sinica, Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry, Chinese Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Chinese Herbal Medicine, Journal of Asian Natural Products Research, Journal of Natural Products, etc. He is a special reviewer of Chinese Herbal Medicine, Natural Product Research and Development, Biological Resources, Fitoterapia, Journal of Ethnopharmacology, etc.
