Dr. Yuan is currently a research professor at Zhejiang University School of Public Health and an adjunct assistant professor at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. She holds a bachelor of medicine degree in Preventive Medicine from Peking University, a master of science degree in Epidemiologic Methods, and a doctor of science degree in Nutrition and Epidemiology from Harvard School of Public Health. Dr. Yuan’s research interest and expertise has primarily focused on nutrient validations studies and using population-based studies to investigate lifestyle and nutritional determinants of chronic and cognitive disease. She has over 100 peer-reviewed publications in top science, epidemiology, nutrition, neuroscience and medical journals, such as Nature Aging, Nature Food, American Journal of Epidemiology, American Journal of Clinical Nutrition, Alzheimer's & Dementia, Neurology, JAMA Pediatrics. Her current research focus on nutritional cognitive neuroscience and underlying mechanisms related to homeostasis and immunosenescence.
